Reed OHE has been providing work place health and safety monitoring for over 10 years. ROHE started small with only the one member but has been growing with more Occupational Hygiene and OHS consultants joining, bringing with them their experience and ability to work in a number of locations all over Australia.

Dr Sue Reed is the current company director and Principal Occupational Hygienist at Reed OHE.

Dr Sue Reed has over 40 years experience as a researcher and practitioner in the field of occupational health and safety with particular speciality in occupational hygiene.  Over the last 30 years she has been involved in the development and analysis of results of health studies in the explosives industry, indoor air quality and the development of a new method to monitor skin exposure to chemicals. 

Over the last 35 years Sue has led a number of consultancies and research projects in relation to workers exposures to a range of hazards funded by the Rural Industries Research Development Corporation (RIRDC), WorkCover NSW and NSW Environmental Protection Agency on agricultural workers exposures to dusts and bioaerosols, OHS of Hairdressers and noise in the general environment. 

As a certified occupational hygienist, in both Australia and USA, she has undertaken a number of studies that involve the monitoring of air quality including dust levels for both inspirable and respirable dust levels.  Sue has co-authored a book chapter and author or co-authored over 40 papers and conference presentations.

Pam Estreich is the Principal Occupational Health and Safety Consultant at Reed OHE

Pam is the newest addition to the Reed OHE team but brings over 28 years of experience in health and safety in a range of government agencies, health, commercial, community services, consumers and construction/mining industries. She acts as the principle work health and safety/business consultant at ROHE. As a senior safety proffesional, her role is to promote and provide a superior level of technical and specialist Work Health and Safety, Workers Compensation and Injury Management best practice to ensure compliance to the legistlation.

She has actively worked with Industry Groups, Unions and senior managements in providing technical information and guidance on workers compensation/injury managemnt inssues through a range of project management incorporating research projects and Industry Grant Programs for the development of OHS and Injury Management issues. Some of these industries include Health, Community, Funeral, and Consumer Services, to both Horse and Motor Racing, and Construction. She also has experience in investigations and compiling prosecturion briefs and Coroner reports.

Pam has extensive experience in curriculum development and training programs for health, safety and workers compensation/injury management, and buisness studies. She has worked within both TAFE and a number of Universities providing a high standard of learning opportunities for both face and online learners, aligned with the accreditation requirements and in line with the National Competencies.

Dr Jacques Oosthuizen is a Senior Occupational Hygienist at Reed OHE. Jacques qualified in the field of environmental health, specialising in occupational hygiene at a post graduate level in South Africa. He began his academic career in 1989 and has been involved in lecturing, consultancy and research in the broader environmental health/occupational hygiene field for 27 years. He obtained a Masters degree and a PhD from a medical school in the area of occupational and environmental epidemiology.

Jacques has been an Australian academic since 1999, initially at Central Queensland University and since 2001 at Edith Cowan University in Perth where he currently is employed as the professor in Occupational and Environmental Health.

Adélle Liebenberg is a Certified Occupational Hygienist at Reed OHE.

Adélle has worked in the field of Occupational Hygiene for over 13 years in the areas of Occupational Hygiene Investigations, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Management, Project Management and Teaching and Learning.

Her work experience ranges from gold and coal mining operations, to industrial and manufacturing facilities, with work in both private practice and as a consultant. She has over 6 years experience as an academic in both teaching and researching in Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology and currently holds a lecturer's position at Edith Cowen University.

Her PhD is aimed at determining why there are still so many workers suffering from NIHL, when it is an entirely preventable injury.
